Plastic is probably the perfect product to recycle.
- Plastic is made from a rare, expensive and finite resource – petroleum.
- If disposed of unwisely, plastic adds to environmental pollution.
- Recycled plastic can retain all its original qualities.
Industrial plastic waste
At Astron Plastics, we recycle clean industrial plastic waste – this includes discards, off-cuts and defective moulded products, as well as shrink-wrap and shroud. This means the plastic resins and sheet products we provide are of excellent quality.
In Australia we are members of the Australian Council of Recyclers and help businesses meet their requirements under the Australian National Packaging Covenant.
In New Zealand we are allied to the Plastics New Zealand, Recycling Operators of NZ, The Packaging Council of NZ and The NZ Packaging Accord.
Post-consumer plastic waste
Due to our focus on clean source material, Astron Plastics does not collect post-consumer waste. If you’re interested in recycling used plastic, please contact your local authority.
