Recycling industrial plastic waste
Aston Plastics provides free collection for manufacturers, distributors, warehouses and other businesses that generate significant quantities of clean plastic scrap.
We’ll purchase uncontaminated manufacturing plastic scrap of specified resin grades and provide a regular service to remove all plastic scrap. For each client, we design an appropriate collection system, providing suitable receptacles such as bins and crates for them to use. Our service removes all plastic waste, reduces costs and allows businesses to focus on their core activities.
We also collect from businesses that generate less than 1m3 or 150kg of plastic scrap per week. Depending on the location and type of plastic involved, this may incur a small collection charge.
In addition to the plastic scrap we recycle ourselves, we’ll collect any other plastic waste and find appropriate avenues for recycling.
Through our activities, we assist our customers to reduce their waste costs and meet their obligations under industry or legislative requirements such as the National Packaging Covenant in Australia and the Packaging Accord in New Zealand.
At Astron, we pride ourselves on the reliability of our collection service. The price in each instance depends on a number of factors such as the grade, colour, quantity, quality and purity of the plastic, as well as market conditions.
